Purpose of the Program

The purpose of the Laboratory Technology Program is; To train qualified laboratory technicians who can work in health, food, environment, chemistry and research laboratories, who can use laboratory devices and equipment effectively, who can carry out analysis and measurement processes, who are familiar with quality assurance systems, who work in accordance with occupational health and safety rules, who have ethical values ​​and who follow professional and technological developments.

The program aims to train the intermediate manpower needed by public and private sector laboratories by integrating students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and to ensure that graduates have the competencies to produce solutions to the problems they will encounter in their professional lives.

Program Goals

* To gain knowledge and skills about basic analysis methods and techniques used in laboratory studies.
* To train graduates who can use laboratory devices correctly, safely and effectively.
* To raise awareness about occupational health and safety, environmental protection and quality management systems.
* To train technical personnel who can work in chemistry, biology, microbiology and related laboratory applications.
